Crèche (3-18 months)
Infants learn to sit, crawl, walk and express themselves in a safe and loving environment. Teacher to infant 1:2 and they will prepare the bottles or baby food you bring from home. Play group (18 months on)
Toddlers explore their environment with their teachers using guided play under the British curriculum. Your child will be introduced to colours, shapes, nursery rhymes and letter sounds with simple routines such as washing hands, taking turns and staying on the queue. Pre- Nursery (2years on September 1)
Children explore the core subjects from the Early years foundation stage (EYFS). These are the 7 key areas language and communication, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, numeracy, understanding the world, expressive arts and design. Nursery (3years on September 1)
Children will expand their knowledge of themselves and the world around them. They will learn how to write basic letters and numbers with presentations. While they continue to explore the core subjects under the EYFS that is language and communication, physical development, personal, social development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, numeracy, understanding the world and expressive arts and design. Reception (4years to 5years)
Children are taught to begin their reading journey, they are taught reading skills that will help them gain fluency. They develop a legible style of handwriting, also communicate clearly and confidently in speech as the teacher adapts learning activities in the specially crafted lessons in personal, social and emotional development, communication and Language, physical development, literacy, numeracy, understanding of the world and expressive arts and design prepares your child for primary school. Primary( Grade 1-6) 5 years and above
Children follow the British curriculum, it is divided into year- long blocks known as 'key-stages' students are formally assessed. Early years is the first keystage (ages 2 to 5). Right after that students graduates into primary school and complete ks1 (Ages 5 to 7) and ks2 (Ages 7 to 11). Click here to find out more.
